Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Poulsbo Library, 700 NE Lincoln Rd, Poulsbo, WA 98370

Please join WSPS, and other concerned citizens, for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services’ Community Education Forum on the release of civilly committed – sexually violent predators into local communities upon release from the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island.

Pints for a Purpose:
Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 6 PM to 9 PM, at Slippery Pig Brewery, 18801 Front St NE, Poulsbo, Washington 98370.

Come out and support Washington State for Public Safety as we raise money for our legal fund! We’ll have pints, plates, raffles and a silent auction with ALL proceeds going to stop the placement of sexually violent predators in residential neighborhoods.

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office: Level III sex offender community notification meeting, Monday, October 21, 6:30 PM – 8 PM
Poulsbo City Council Chambers, 200 Moe Street, Poulsbo.

This is a community meeting to advise area residents of the residency status of a Level III registered sex offender. This person is due to be released from the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island. He is returning to a residence in the 17000 block of Viking Way NW, Poulsbo.

Wednesday, October 9th at 7 PM in the City Council Chambers at Poulsbo City Hall.

Poulsbo City Council Members adopted an interim zoning ordinance to regulate High Risk Secure Facilities such as the facility on Viking Way for sexually violent predators (SVPs). Please join us in supporting the Council Members’ work on approving this ordinance at a public hearing during the City Council meeting. Your attendance is appreciated in our continued efforts to keep SVPs out of residential neighborhoods.
